For the past 16 years I have searched the Caribbean for the top permit fishing flats.  During many fishing adventures to Belize, Mexico, the Bahamas and beyond, I have found what I believe to be the top permit fisheries in the Caribbean.   

To make the list, the fishery must possess the best opportunity to see and catch permit.  There needs to be access to top guides who communicate well, work hard, and want permit just as bad as you do.  Accommodations, dining, and hospitality all are factored in when selecting the location that fits our customers desires.

Favorite Permit Fishing Destinations

There are many great permit fishing flats from north of Cancun to Honduras to the south.  My favorite flats and guides are located on the Yucatan Peninsula and south into Belize.  Each location shares in common productive permit fishing, talented guides who will teach the finer points of permit fishing, and each destination has great accommodations within striking distance of the prime permit flats.
